This page outlines the general flow and sequence of the season. Highlights to changes on the items below will be listed here.
Prior to the start of the season, player try-outs/assessments and coach selections are conducted. Player tryout dates have been set for selected non-senior teams - these are posted on the Junior Tryouts page. Some coach selection has occurred. If you are interested in coaching a team for the 2007/2008 season, please see the Coaching Application page.
The regular season for all teams starts in September, though the date of the first matches depends on the age group and tier (i.e. Gold, Silver, Bronze) or Division.
Field usage at Braefoot and Reynolds Parks as per the Practice Schedule comes into effect during the second week of September.
Within the Lower Island Soccer Association (LISA) divisions (U13-U18) teams take part in Cup Play at the closing part of the season.
Within the Lower Island Women's Soccer Association, teams take part in Cup play within that league.

Tournaments (or Jamborees) can typically occur at any time throughout the season. Our Tournaments page lists Lakehill and other tournaments in our area.
For teams in Divisions U11 and up, our season formally closes with the annual Season Celebration. At this event, awards are given by the Club to players, coaches, match officials and volunteers in recognition to their efforts and achievements over the past season. Coaches may optionally also take this opportunity to present awards to teams given as part of District, Region or Provincial play.
