LAKEHILL SOCCER ASSOCIATION NOTICE OF AGM

All members are invited to LSA Annual General Meeting April 7, 2013, 6:00pm, Braefoot Community Center Main Hall (upstairs).  Please come and have a VOICE in YOUR club or TAKE A STAND, voting by proxy not permitted.  Volunteers are always needed.  Please consider one of the eight director positions up for (re)election.

Great season for several of our men's teams, but this weekend could be the best double header soccer at Braefoot park in years.  We hope our member find time to come down to Braefoot in their Red and White to support 2 teams in Semi-Final Cup play.  Our young Div 2 Reds looking for promotion to Div 1 next season have knocked out a few Div 1 teams along the way and now meet Sooke Div 1 in Jackson Cup Semi Finals.  Our experienced Div 4 Danger Police have clinched promotion to Div 3 next season.  They knocked out a few Div 3 teams along the way and meet Campbell River Div 3 in Challenge cup Semi Finals.

The rain did not dampen the turnout for Lakehill's first annual Fmaily Day Celebration. Many thanks to all the coaches/parents and of course the players for making it such a success. The day was highlighted by 2 large games, shooting and soccer tennis competetions. It was great to see so many parents joining in the fun.

Around 100 hotdogs were sold and $200 raised for SIMUNYE soccer foundation that provides impovershed children in Zimbabwe soccer and educational opportunites.
