On Call Concession Staff Volunteer Description

E-mail Print PDF

Have name on an on-call listing for short notice concession staffing.

Sometimes, there are gaps in the concession schedule, or people get sick and have to cancel their volunteer shift in the concession. On call concession staff get called in to fill these gaps during game times on Saturday or Sunday. If you can fill in, great, if not, just say so, and we'll call the next person on the list.

This list is great for people that live close to Braefoot park, teenagers in need of volunteering credit or work experience for school, or other retired family members wanting to get out and help out the club and meet people at the same time.

Volunteer Hour Reporting
Thank you to all those who have already completed their volunteers hours!! Please let your team manager know about your hours, so they can fill out the teams volunteer reporting form. If you have multiple children, please let each childs' team manager know what you have done.

Team Managers - we will have a new online volunteer reporting form for you to fill out soon. It should be filled out in December (for winter break) and at the end of the season. There will also be a section to list families that have not done any volunteering to your knowledge - so we have everyone listed. You will be receiving an email with a link to it, if your name/email is on this website as a team manager in the division pages.

A Message from your Club Volunteer Coordinator
I get alot of inquiries for positions that are exactly 5 hours. We try to have a list of positions available that fit this, but many positions really do require more than 5 hours of your time. While I understand you want to only do what is required, please consider volunteering more, or encouraging others to do so. Many hands make lighter work for everyone.

Please also understand this: I am a volunteer myself. Our coaching director, coaches, managers, coordinators, board members, etc are all volunteers that dedicate well over 5 hours to the club, some over 5 hours per week. All of them have commitments outside of the club, including day jobs and families.

Extra volunteering, even by a few hours, not only makes it easier on everyone but also shows that you value your club.
