Congratulations to the Bronze Medal winning u12 Boys team co-coached by Carlos Almeida and the Lakehill players: Alec Keech, Gareth Crisp and Troy Almeida. The team of upper and lower island players have been training since April and were rewarded with a great finish at the Provinces premier u12 Soccer event held every two years! Lakehill was represented on the Girls team by Katica Rados.

2010/2011 Season Gold Team (u12-u18) formations

A list of team assignments are currently being communicated via email indicating to players those that have been assigned to Gold, Silver or are awaiting further assessment prior to season begin. 

A Practice Schedule for August  has been posted. All registered (u12-u18) players are welcome to attend a weekly practice session on the Braefoot Turf during the month of August . For those teams that have yet to be finalized, their practices will be run by the Clubs Technical Director

Late registration Cut-off:

Late registrations will be assigned to teams prior to season begin. Please note that the final cut off for all registrations for Gold teams is September 8th, for Silver teams: September 15th. for u5-u11 is October 1st.

Now is the time to sign up for the refresher course and to becom accredited for the new season. Interested in becoming a Lakehill ref contact the Clubs Head Referee Mr.Al Moir.

The pay at Lakehill is (very) good! the work is rewarding!

"Annual Referee Refresher Clinics":  September 19th

Lakehill Soccer, the Canadian Soccer Association and the BC Socer Association requires all referees to attend an annual referee refresher Clinic and register with BC Soccer in order to maintain their active status.

Referee refresher Clinics are designed to update all Registered Referees in BC with any laws of the Game changes and interpretations. the clinic content of the refresher is developed by the Referee Education program and launched in August of each year.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please wear suitabl clothing to particpate in on-field activity and there will be a Fitness test at all refresher clinics!

Pre-requisite: Must currently be a BC Soccer registered official

Course length: 3 hours

Coure fee: FREE (once you have attended a refresher Clinic you MUST re-register as a BC Soccer Referee, which is to be done on an annual basis).
