2009/10 Team Formation Update
The Lakehill Soccer technical committee has met and reviewed the coaching nominations and player assessments for the upcoming 2009/2010 season.
Tryouts for the U12-U18 Gold teams have begun and will continue till the end of June. Additional sessions will be scheduled to follow the LISA Metro/Selects player evaluations and will be posted online as additional dates become available.
Following the finalization of the Gold teams, and the completion of registrations at the beginning of August, Lakehill teams will be selected and players will be notified. Spots are still available and players can register by completing and dropping off their forms at the Braefoot Community Association office. As teams start to fill, a wait list will be kept.
All U12-U18 teams will be finalized in August based upon the number of players registered.
Youth U5-U11 teams will be formed during the first weeks of September. Registration for these teams will be accepted throughout the summer.

Player Registration
Registration for Junior (U18 and younger) players is open. Player registration for Senior (Men's and Women's teams) will open as the 2009/10 season approaches. Please see the Registration Page for more information.
Player Camps and Summer Leagues
Braefoot Activity Centre has a number of programs running through the summer.
EM Sports and World Cups Soccer both offer exposure to the sport to the motivated u9+ player. Weekly development sessions from now till March 15th.
United Soccer Spring league conducts their season from mid-April till the end of June. This 10 week recreational League is hosted at Gorge's Hampton Park turf field.
For those youth players looking for something more competitive, player evaluation dates for the upcoming Super-Y season for the u13 and u14 teams have been posted on the Lower Island Soccer website. To find out more about Super-Y, check out the United Soccer League website.
The Residential Soccer Academy takes place from July 8th - July 13th at Shawnigan Lake Private School. The academy is open for boys and girls, ages 10-16 years old.
