Stock Manager Description

E-mail Print PDF

The concession stock manager works with the Concession Manager to figure out which stock to get, and what the prices will be. The Stock Manager is also responsible for acquiring the stock for the concession and maintaining it.

Typically the Stock Manager would be required to get new stock for the start of the season, and every Saturday depending on stock levels. Coffee and Hot Chocolate would be ordered through a company for delivery (currently Canterbury) when needed, Remaining stock typically to be acquired at either The Real Canadian Wholesale place, or Costco if stock manager has a membership.

The Stock Manager would check the concession weekly, and consult the concession white board for items out of stock or wanted by customers. It is up to the Stock Manager to judge how much stock to acquire at any given week. Typically cold drinks are in high demand in the warm fall and spring weekends, and hot drinks more in demand in the colder weekends. As the season ends, stock should be tapering off. With the concession end date being typically around the mini jamboree. Some more weekends of games may still happen afterwards though as older teams are still playing in play offs / cup games. End dates, extra schedules are made by the Club Volunteer Coordinator, so communication is key here.
