The Club Gear Volunteer is the manager of all the club gear. The club gear volunteer would need to present to the Operations Director first for screening, then the club board for approval a list of gear to sell, best pricing for that gear, and a system for ordering whether online, order forms, or event days.
Best pricing means that the volunteer has engaged different places in town.
A system for ordering must have a paper trail - ie no cash. All records of transactions must be kept. A monthly statement and funds must be handed over to the Finance Director. A start up fund may be available for purchasing a small quantity of stock for demonstration purposes. The volunteer would have to apply to the Finance Director for this.
