Pre-season starts sometime in mid-late summer for full field teams. Prior to the start of the season, player try-outs/assessments and coach selections are conducted.
Player tryouts and assessments are conducted over the summer months for tiered (i.e. Gold, Silver, Bronze) teams.
The regular season for all teams starts in September, though the date of the first matches depends on the age group and tier (i.e. Gold, Silver, Bronze) or Division.
Field usage at Braefoot and Reynolds Parks as per the Practice Schedule comes into effect during the second week of September.
Within the Lower Island Soccer Association (LISA) divisions (U13-U18) teams take part in Cup Play at the closing part of the season. Visit Lower Island Soccer
Within the Lower Island Women's Soccer Association, teams take part in Cup play within that league.
Within the Vancouver Island Soccer Association (Men's), teams take part in the following play:
Lakehill hosts two tournaments (or Jamborees) each year.
The Girls' Fall Classic is held on Thanksgiving Day weekend each year. It is open to girls' teams in the U12-U18 Divisions.The Graham Branton Mini Jamboree is held at the end of March each year. It is open to girls' and boys teams in the U7-U11 Divisions.
